Abstract:Autonomous vehiclesarecomprehensiveintellgentsystemsencompassngenvironmentalperception,vehiclepositioning,pathplaning,anddecision-makingandcontrol.Vehiclesofdierentlevelsofutonomyhavevaryingadaptabilitytothrvion ments.Combiningenvironmentalperceptioninformationwiththeautonomousvehicle'soperatingrangecanhelpthevehicledetermine whethertoexitautonomousdrivingtoensuredrivingsafety.Basedonthis,thepaperproposesamethodforcomprehensivelyevaluat ingtheoperatingrangeofanautonmousvehicle.Themethoddeconstructsandclasifiesautonomousdrivingenvironmentalinfoationintoaserisofsceneelements.Atransfermodelistestablsed,incoporatingteaalyticierarchyprocestocalulatete complexityofthecurrentscene.Finally,theoperatingrangeof theautonomous vehicleisevaluatedbasedontestresults.
