Research on the Performance of Internal Heating Dual-coil GDI Injector

Abstract:ToadresstheshortcomingsoftraditionalGDinjectors,suchaspoorfuelatomizatioandslowresponsespedinlowtemperatureenviroments,thispperproposesaniterallyeateddual-coilGDjectorstructure.Bydsignigadual-coildrieoduleandinteralheatingunit,theproposeddesignenhancesboththeinjector'sactivationresponsespeedandfuelflowperforanceunderlow-temperatureconditios.Throughacombnatioofexperimentalandsulationmethods,thistudyinvestigatestheeltomag netic response characteristics,spray characteristics,and fuel economyofthe injector.Results demonstrate thatat -20∘C low-temperature conditions,the internally heated dual-coil GDI injector achieves a 15%~20% reduction in injection response time compared to conventional injectors,an 8%~12% decrease in fuel atomization particle size(SMD),and a 3%~5% improvement in engine thermal efficiency.This innovation provides critical technical support for optimizing GDI engine performance.
