Abstract ObjectiveTo optimize the perioperative management process of one-stop surgery for atrial fibrillation （AF）using healthcare failure mode and efect analysis （HFMEA）.MethodsIn accordance with the steps of HFMEA，a systematic exploration and in一depth analysis were conducted on the risk points existing in the perioperative period of one一stop surgery for AF. Targeted intervention measures were formulated from four aspects： precise preoperative multidimensional management，optimizationof surgical strategies，innovative postoperative clinical practices，and digital intellgence一enabled whole一process management.ResultsThe average surgical operation timefor healthcare professionals was shortened to l9O minutes;the average waiting time for preoperative examinations for patients was reduced to 24.5 hours，the implementation rate of preoperative assessments increased to 97.14% ，the incidence of moderate or higher pain during surgery decreased to 14.28% ，the incidence of intraoperative hypothermia decreased to 17.14% ，the compliance rate of energy intake within 48 hours postoperatively increased to 97.14% ，the average length of hospital stay was shortened to 4.2 days，and the follow-up rate increased to 97.14% .ConclusionThe application of HFMEA optimized the perioperative management processof one一stop surgery for AF，reduced perioperative surgical risks，improved patients' healthcare experiences，and ensured patient safety.
