Abstract：Thisstudysystematicallreviewsandanalyzesexistingliteraturetosummarizeanddiscusshow2OtypesofsingleChineseherbal medicinescan exertanti-SEeffctsbyregulating signaling pathwayssuchas GABA，PI3K/Akt，MAPK，AMPA/Ca²+， HMGBI/RAGE，totierss，fati，bitroaliabilitypprsselltosisdtouc neuronaldamage，mprovecognitivedfunction，ndimproverainelectricalactivityAlthoughteseChineseherbsshowpotentialanti -SE effcts，there iscurrentlyalackofclincalsafetyandefcacyassssments.Therefore，moresystematicresearchndevidencebasedmedicalresearchareneededinthefuturetopromotetheapplicationofChinesemedicineinthetreatmentofSEandthedevelopment of new drugs.
