Abstract：ObjectiveTo furtherimprove thequalitystandardof CampanumoeajavanicaBl.subsp.JavanicaBl.and providebasicdata，apreliminarystudyontheidentificationndcontentdeterminationofCampanumoeajauaicaBl.subsp.JavanicaBl.Herbs. MethodsTheextract，totalash，acid-insolubleash，andmoisturecontentofCampanumoeajavanicaBl.subsp.JavanicaBl.were determinedaccording togeneralprciplesofCnesePharmacopoeiaOOEdition.ResultsThemorphologicalcharacteristics，ross sectionandpowdermicroscopiccharacteristicsofCampanumoeajwanicaB.subsp.JavanicaBl.weredescribedindetailandused thethinlayerchomatographytoqualitativeidentificationofitsmthanolextract.ThetotalashcontentofCampanumoeajaanicaBl. subsp. Javanica Bl. was between 3.06% and 9.75% ，the acid-insoluble ash content was between 0.48% and 1.68% ，the 70% （204号 ethanol extractwasbetween 13.62% and 39.93% ，and the moisture content was between 9.75 % and 12.29 % .Conclusions The traitsofCampanumoeajavanicaBl.subsp.JavanicaBl.werestandardized.ThetotalashcontentofCampanumoeajavanicaBl.subsp.Javanica Bl. should not be more than 10.0% ，acid-insoluble ash content should not be more than 1.8% ， 70% ethanol extract should not be lower than 13.0% ，and moisture content should not be more than 13% . The results provide a basis for the establishment of quality standards of Campanumoea javanica Bl. subsp. Javanica Bl.
