The Regional Differentiation Characteristics of Soil Enzyme Activity and Stoichiometric Ratios in the

Rhizosphere of Wuyi Shuixian Tea Plants

Abstract:To investigate thediferences andrelationships betweenthephysicochemicalproperties,enzymeactivities, and stoichiometricratios in therhizosphere soil of Wuyi Shuixian tea from Zhengyan (rocktea)and Zhoucha (alluvial tea)regions,this studyselectedand compared soil samples fromboth regions.Theresultsshowthat: thecontentsof total nitrogen (TN) and microbial biomass nitrogen (MBN) were significantly higher in the Zhengyan area,whereas the Zhouchaarea had higher soil organic mater (SOC),pH,and microbial biomass carbon (MBC)levels.The activities of β -1,4-glucosidase (βG)and acid phosphatase (ACP) were significantly higher in the Zhoucha area.Vector analysis of soil enzyme stoichiometry reveals that microbial communities in both regions were limited by phosphorus, with the

Zhoucha area additionally exhibiting more significant carbon limitation.Correlation analysis indicates that in the Zhengyan area, enzyme activities were positively correlated with SOCand TPbut negatively correlated with MBN. In contrast,inthe Zhouchaarea,enzymeactivities were positivelycorelated withpHbutsignificantlynegativelycorelated with MBC and MBN,highlighting differences in the dominant factors influencing enzyme activities between the two regions.This study,fromtheperspectiveof microbialmetabolic limitations,reveals the keyconstraints forsoilnutrient management in tea gardens from diferent localities.It was recommended that management in the Zhengyan area focus on nutrient conservation and available phosphorus supplementation, while the Zhoucha area should prioritize carbon source input and coordinated optimization of phosphorus fertilizer management.
