Abstract: Ready to drink (RTD)beverages area popular type of soft drink among young consumers in both domestic and internationalmarkets.The tea rawmaterials used forRTD tea encompass almost allsix majorcategories of Chinese tea.Due to the diferences in manufacturing,packaging,storage,transportation,and consumption methods between RTD and traditional tea,the quality requirements and blending techniques for tea beverage raw materials difer from those for traditional teas.This article discussd the main categories of raw materials used for RTD tea, the quality requirements for tea raw materials,the refining and processing of tea raw materials,and the blending techniques, providing a reference for the standardized processing and quality improvement of tea beverages.
