Dynamic sub-structure method for longitudinal seismic response ofa shield tunnel crossing soft-hard interlayered sites

Abstract:Basedonthebasicconceptofthegeneralizedresponsedisplacement method,adynamicsub-structureanalysismethod suitableforthelongitudinalseismicresponseofashieldtunnelcrossinglongitudinallyunevensitesisproposed.Anexplicitpaalel calculationmodelofthelongitudinalunevefrefieldadathdimensional(3D)refidexplicitparallelcalulationmodelofthe surroundingrock-shieldtunnelsystemareestablishedbyusingthenewlyproposedsub-structureanalysis method.Thereal-time transmisionofdynamicdeformationbetweenthetwomodelsontheboundaryisachievedthroughthesub-structure method.The fre-fieldseismicwaveattheburiddpthofthetunelistransformedintotheequivalentearthquakeactionoftesurroundingrock shield tunnelsub-structure model.Compared withthe traditional beam-spring model,themodelmethod inthis papercanachieve the 3Drefined simulationof thesuroundingrock-tunnel systemandthelongitudinal non-uniformground motioniput along the tunnelcausedbythesitesesmicefect.Thereliabilityofthemodelmethodintispaperisverifiedbyomparingitwiththecalculationresultsof the3Drefinedanalysismodeloftheshieldtunnel.Theresultsshowthatthe modelmethodinthispaperhasaclear concept,simplemodeling,lowcalculationcostandsmalliferencesinresults,whichcanfullyreflect thelongitudinalseismicre sponseofshieldtunnelcrossinglongitudinalunevensites.Itprovidesamoreefcientanalysis methodforthelongitudinalseismic design of shield tunnels crossing longitudinal uneven sites with soft-hard connected media.
