Abstract：Ridecomfortevaluationofhighsped trainshasvitalimportanceforcontinuously improvingthestructuraldesignand pasengers’ridesatisfaction.Thispapertries toevaluatethelong-termandmomentaryridecomfortofhighspeedtrainsinChinain thelightoftheEuropeanstandardEN2299：2O09，anddiscuss theaplicabilityofthestandard.Objectivevibrationtestandsub jectivecomfortevaluationwerecariedoutinacomprehensiveinspectiontrain.Averagecomfortidexanddiscreteeventscomfort indexrecommendedbytheEN2299：2o9 standard werebrefly itroduced，andthetwoindexes wereselectedforlong-tercomfortevaluationandmomentaryomfortevaluationrespectivelyForthetheekindsoftracksectionswithdiferentsubjectivefeelings，basedonthe measured vibrationacelerationdata，thelongtimeand momentarycomfort evaluation indexes werecalculated respectively，thecomfortofhighspedtrainand trackqualitywereanalyzed.Combined withthesubjective evaluatioresults，the applicabilityof thecorrspondingindexes wasanalyzed，andattempts were madetoputforward suggestionsforimprovemet.ac cording towhichthecomfortofhighspedrailrdeandthequalityoftetrackintothestandardisanalyzed.Theapplicabilityof theseindices wasanalyzedbyreferrng tothesubjectiveevaluation，andcertainsuggestionwasproposedtomodifytheindexes.
