Abstract:Toamelioratethelow-frequencysoundabsorptionperformanceofbulk porous materials,atheoretical modelforpredict ingthesoundabsorptionofthecompositestructureincorporatingflexibleultra-thinandbulkporousmaterialsisderived.Themodel integratesJohnson-Champoux-Alard(JCA)modelandacousticimpedancemodelforflexibleultra-thinmaterials,employignon Wovenfabricandmelaminecotonasilustrativeinstances.Theaccuracyof this modelisvalidatedthrough experimentalverifica tion,and particleswarmoptimization(PSO)isemployed tooptimizetheparametersofthecompositestructure.Theanalysis re sultsindicatethattheaditionofalayerofnon-wovenfabriconthesurfaceof traditionalbulk porous materialssignificantlyenhanc esthelow-frequencysoundabsorptionperformance.Thispaperprovidesatheoreticalfoundationforthedetermination,analysis andoptiizationofthesoundabsorptionperformanceofthecompositesound-absorbingstructurecomposedofflexibleultrathin andbulkporousmaterials,Aditionally,itpresentsanefectivemethodforimprovingthelowfrequencysoundabsorptiopefor mance without changing the thickness of the original sound absorber.
