Abstract:Theflexibilityofgear tethundercyclic varyingloadscaninduce meshing impactandnonlinear vibrationof gearpairs. Revealingtheultistatemeshingcharacteristicsandnonlineardynamiccharacteristicsofspurgearsystemsconsiderigtthflexibilitylaysthefoundationforthesafeandreliableoperationof transmisionsystems.Basedonthecantileverbeam theoryand gear meshingprinciples,theflexible deformationof meshing teeth iscalculated,andthecalculation methodforflexible time-varying meshingparametersofgearpairsisderived;basedonthecontactstatesandloadingconditionsofthegearpairs,extractthecharac teristics of multi-state flexible meshing,and anonlineardynamic modelof the spur gearsystem with multi-status flexible meshing isestablished;studytheevolutionlawsofflexibletime-varyingmeshingparametersandthedistributioncharacteristicsofflexible deformationofgearteethudermultiparameterscorrelation,anduncovertheglobalbifurcatioandchaoscharacteristicsofthesys temwhentheteethflankclearancechanges.Theresultsidicatethattheflexibilityofthegeartethreducesthedoubleteethmes ingarea,fectsthemesingparametersandmultistatusmeshingcharacteristicsofthegearsystem,andinducesoutof-liemesh ingofthegearpair;thevariationofteeth flankclearancecauses thecoexistenceofperiodicmotionsandchaoticmotions,andincomplete bifurcationunder multiple initialconditions is the fundamental cause forsuch dynamic behavir coexistence.
