Abstract:Therearealargenumberofultra-largeslopebridgesintherackrailwayline,andthesetlementofbridgepiersisdifi culttoavoid.ItleadstothedecreaseofthesmoothnessoftherailwaylineandthreatenthesafetyandsmoothnessofthetrainTo solvethisproblem,basedonthetheoryofvehiclerack(track)-bridgedynamicinteractionandgeardynamics,acoupleddynamic modelofmountainvehiclerack(track)-bridge systemis established.Thedynamic modelconsidersthe nonlinear meshingbehavior ofgearrackandnonlinearcontactbehaviorofwheelrailindetail.Themeshingbehaviorofgearrackandthedynamiccharacteris ticsof vehiclesunderthreedifferentpiersettlementmodes(singlepiersettlement,continuouspiersettlemntandspaced pierset tlement)areinvestigatedndtheifluenceofdiferentpiersetlementmodesonthevibrationofvehicesisompared.Thersults showthatheinfluenceofpierselementontherackrailwaysysteismainlyreflectedintheverticalandlongitudialacceleration of thevehicle,and the main frequencyof vibrationis 1~2Hz and 8~9Hz respectively.The effects of single pier settlement on the basic vibrationcharacteristicsof therack-bridgesystemaresimilartothoseofdoublepiersetlement.Butcomparedwithdouble piersetlement,theectsofinglepiersetlementonthelongiudinalacelerationoftevicleaemoresignificant,ndtfluc tuationofthe meshingfrequencyisalsosignificantlyincreased.Piersetlementwillcausethe increaseof gearofset,andthenlead tothe instability of gear-rack meshing.When pier settlement is 6mm ,theproblem of meshing apartbegins to appear,which seriouslythreatensthe operation safety of vehicles.
