Abstract:The harmonic vibrationproducedbythe gear meshinginthehelicopter'smainreducerisoneofthemain sourcesof noise inthehelicoptercabin.Designingvibrationsolatinggearboxstruts tosuppressvibationtransmissiontoteairframecanectively reducecabin noise.The piezoelectric stack actuators periodic strut(PSAPS),composedof periodically arranged piezoelectric stacksand metalic materials,demonstrates‘mechanicalfiltering’characteristicswithinspecificfrequencybands,servingasapas sivevibrationcontrolmethod.ByadjustingthedrivingvoltageofpiezoelectricstacksinPAPStoachievevariablestifesscharac teristics,activevibrationcontrolisenabled.Inordertostudytheelectromechanicalcouplingrelationshipbetweenactivevibration controland passvevibrationcontrolofSAPSs,aspecializedPAPSconfigurationisdeveloped toadresshlcoptergeares ing noisesuppresion,andtheelectromechanicalcouplingdynamic modelofPSAPSs withtheformof tansfermatrix isestablishedforthemechanicalfilteringcharacterstisofperodicstructureandelasticwavepropagationinpiezoelectricstack.Infrequen cydomain,theforceandvelocityatbothendsof thePSAPs,thedrivingvoltageandcurrnt,the geometricalparametersofthe strutandthematerialparametersarecoupledinthis model.Inthispaper,themaximumatenuatiorateof thePSAPScanbeobtainedunderthelimitationofthemaximumdrivingvoltageandcurentofthepiezoelectricstackbyusingthismodel.Theinfluence of rubberdamping lossfactor,excitation force,andcellnumberinPSAPSontherequireddriving voltageandcurentforactive control is analyzed in thisarticle.
