Abstract:Thevibrationreductioncharacteristicofrotorsystemwithactiveelasticsupportdryfrictiondamperis studied inthis pa per.Thedynamic modelof rotor system is establishedanda 2Dfritionmodelofcontact surfaceindryfriction damperus built. The transientand steady state dynamic responses of rotor system areobtained after dynamic equationsbeing solved byutilizing Newmark-HHTnumericalintegrationmethod.The steady statevibration signals ofdry frictiondamper rotor system underdifer entnormalloadarecompared,meanwhilethetransientdynamicresponsesofrotorsystembeforeandafterturmingondryfriction damperarestudied.Experimentaltestrigforrotorsystemanddryfrictiondamperaresetup.Thevibrationsignalsofrotorwhile passing thefirstsecondcriticalspedregionsaremeasuredandanalyzed.Thentheexperimentalvibrationsignalsarecompared withsimulationvibrationresponsestoverifythevibrationreductionefect,andthvibrationateuationcharacteristicofdrfriction damperonrotorsystemunderdiferent workingconditions isstudied.Theresultsshowthattheactiveelasticsupportdryfriction damperouldonlyatenuaterotor’svibrationwithinacertainnormalforce.Finaly,theresultscould providetheoreticalguidefor vibration control strategy on rotor system.
