Abstract:Focusingonatypeofcable-bracinginertersystemthatutilizespositiveandnegativeteethballscrewstoacheveself-balancingproperties,thispaperexplorestheprospectofitsappicationinighiseorsuperhighrsestructureswithcomplexdefora tioncharacteristicsofbendingandshearing.Thispaperdevelopsasimplified modelforthedynamicanalysisofbending-shearstructuresbasedonthemodifiedTimoshenkobeamtheoryinordertotakeintoaccounttheaccuracyandcomputationaleficiencyofthe simulationoftheoriginalstructuraldynamiccharacteristics.Threetypesofcablelayoutschemesareproposedforthecable-bracing selfbalancinginertersystem,andteapropratecablelyoutsforthesructureswithdiferentbndngsheardeformatiotiosare verified.Aquantitativemetricisproposedtooptimizetheanchoragepositionforstructurespecificmodalcontrol.Theaccuracyof theoptimizationresultsisconfimedinthetimeandfrequencydomains throughtheaplicationoffixedpointtheoryforsinglemodalcontrol.Thefolowing conclusionscan bederived.The higher thepercentageofbendingdeformationof thestructureis,the moreefectivetheverticalconnectionofthecableswillbe,ndthemoreefetivethedagonalconnetionwillbeasthepercetage of sheardeformation increases.Withregard tostructure-specific modalcontrol,theoptimizedanchorage positionandfixed-point theory methods can significantly increase the damping eficiency of the inerter system.
