Influence of displacement excitation and thermal deformation coupled waviness on slipping and vibration characteristics of full ceramic bearing

Abstract:Toinvestigatetheefectofwavinessontheslippageand vibrationcharacteristicsofthefullceramicearing,displace mentexcitationand thermaldeformationarecoupled topropose thedynamic waviness model.The Hertzcontacttheoryandtimevaryingdisplacementexcitatioarecombined toobtainthecalculatiomethodoftime-varyingcontactstfesscoeficient,andthe stifesscoefcentisaldinetailectsoftivarngcontactstisoefntandtivargdisplaceteci tationarealsotakenintoaounttomodel theslippingdynamicofthefullceramicbearing.Theefectsofrotationalspeedandwavi nessonthe slippageand nonlinearvibrationcharacteristicsof thefullceramic bearingareanalyzed.Theresultsshowthatan in creaseinrotatioalspeed,waviesampliudeandwaveumberalleadtanlargedontactstifsfientetwetheball andtheracewayThecontactstifescoeficientismoresensitivetohangesinavenumber.Theicreaseinrotationalspeedcan exacerbateslippage.Boththeincrease inwavinessamplitudeandwavenumbercanhave theefectof inhibiting slippage.However, thewavinessamplitudeand wavenumbercanbetoolargeresulting inabnormalvibrationoftheinnerring.Themaximumfundamental frequency deviation between simulation and test is 2.75Hz ,the maximum error is 0.37% .This research can be used for the optimal design of the full ceramic bearing structures as wellas for health monitoring.
