Field test and analysis of influence factors on the dynamic characteristics of self-supporting flat arm tower crane under multiple working conditions

Abstract:Inordertoobtainmoreacurateandrefineddynamiccharacteristicsoftheflatboomtowercrane,thfieldtestofthedy namicresponseofthetypicalfrestandingflatboomtowercranewascariedoutconsideringtheinfluenceofliftingpositions,lifting heights(ropelengths)andliting weights.Thetestresultsshowthatthevibrationalongtheboomaxialdirectionandverticaldirectionhasgoodsychronzation.However,theresponsecorrelationbetweenthehorizontaldirectionoftheverticalboomandtheai alandverticaldirectionofthetowercraneboomisrelativelylow.Thenaturalfrequenciesidentifiedbythehalf-powerbandwidth methodandtheSSI-COVmethodarebasicallythesame,withthediferenceoflifting positions,ropelengthsandliftingweights, thenaturalfrequenciesofflatboomtowercranewillfuctuatearoundthenaturalfrequencyundernoload.Therearesomediferenc esinthedentificationresultsofthedampingratiobetweenthetwometods,inmostworkingconditions,thedampingratioidenti fied bythe SSI-COVmethodissmaller than thatidentifiedbythehalfpowerbandwidth method.Basedonorthogonal testanaly sis,the influenceoftheabovefactorsonthe naturalfrequencyanddampingratioof thetowercraneisnotsignificant,and there is no maineffect.Inaddition,thefiniteelementmodeloftheflatarmtowercraneisoptimized,andthefrequencyoftheupdatedmodelis ngoodagreementwiththetestresults.Theboomvibrationmodefunctionunderno-loadconditionwasfted,theamplitude distributionalong theboomlengthexhibitsanapproximatelylinear,however,whentheliftingweightappearsattheendorrotof the boom,the boom vibration mode may show an obvious nonliner characteristics.
