A Study on the Escape of Imperial Eunuchs During the Qianlong Reign of the Qing Dynasty

Abstract:After theQing DynastyenteredtheShanhaiPas,astrictmanagementsystemwasestablishedforeunuchstoavoidrepeatingthe MingDynasty’sdownfallduetoeunuchs’interferenceinpolitcs.DuringthereignofEmperorQianlong，someeunuchshoseto escapebecausetheycouldnottoleratestrictmanagement，cruelpunishments，conomicpovertyndeavyworkloads.Afterscaping，the eunuchswereimiseablesiatiofounditdiulttontegateitosocietyndvenmbarkedoepathfie.eingDas tyadoptedvariouspunitivemeasuressuchsfrcingthmtoutgrassadeilingtemtotheborderareas，utfiledtofecivelyurbthe escapephenomeonofeunuchs.TisisuehighlightstheinadequaciesofimperialpalacemanagementintheQingDynastyandreflects te deep-seated contradictions in society at that time.
