Abstract：ThemodernChineserailwaysirtrefers totespiritualoutlook，wilpowerandrevolutionaryintegritydisplayedbyailway workersiaseriesoflabormovementsandrevolutionarystruglesinmodernChina.ItisteorginandfoundationoftheChinserailay spirit，andhaslaidthecorevaluesandhistoricalfoundationforit.Anunprecedentedlygravenationalcrisis，miserableondtiosof modernChineserailwayworkers，thespreadofMarxism，andtheriseofthegloballabormovementtogethershapedthemodernChinese railwayspirit.ThemodemChineserailwayspiritisdefinedbythreecoreelements：therevolutionaryspiritofunwaveringbeliefand sacrifice，theteamspiritoforganizationalloyaltyandcollborativecoperation，andthepatroticspiritofsharedhardshipandself sacrifice.
