Abstract：Thecultivation adaptability and key cultivation techniques of diferent blueberry groups and varieties in the Xichangarea arecomprehensivelyanalyzed.Located inthe southwestern partofSichuan Province，Xichang ischaracterized by a tropical plateau dry-hot valley monsoon climate. In recent years，an average annual temperature of 17.2～18.7∘C has been recorded，with annual precipitation measuring approximately 1， 000mm and annual sunshine duration reaching about 4，200 hours.Introductionandcultivation trialsin Xichang have shown significant diferences inthe performanceof various bluebery groups：Northern highbush blueberries exhibit poor growthand development，whilerabbiteye blueberies grow normally. Some Southern highbush varieties adapt wel to local conditions，such as“Suziblue”，“L25”，“L29”and“F6”demonstratingsuperior performance.Additionally，thisstudy showed keytechnical aspectsofblueberycultivation suited tothe Xichang region，including variety selection，flowering period management，and integratedpestand diseasecontrol.The findings provide a scientific basis and technical support for the blueberry industry in Xichang area.
