Cultivation Performance and Key Considerations in Production of Envy Apple

Abstract：TheEnvy apple is apremium late-ripening applecultivar developed in New Zealandand introduced to China in 2011.It has been cultivated inmajor apple-producing regions，including the Bohai Bay Rim，the LoessPlateau in Northwest China，Former Yelow River Floodplain，the Southwest Highlands，and Xinjiang.Pingliang City，Gansu Province，began trial cultivationof thiscultivarin2O13.Basedonyearsofcultivationobservations，theEnvyappleexhibits moderatetre vigor， easyflower formation，earlyfruiting，highyield stablity with minimal bienialbearing，strong resistance topests and diseases，attractivefruit appearance，excellnt taste，andoutstanding economic value，making itapromisingcultivar forwidespread adoptionBasedonyearsof practicalexperience，inaditiontoconventionalmanagement，themeasures thatshouldbepaidat tentionto in production were put forward，suchas moderateclose planting，configurationof polinationvarieties，strengthening calciumfertilizersupply，improvingfruitsugarcontent，and introducingandplanting fromauthorizedunits，soastogivefull play to the production potential of Envy apple and promote the maximization of its production efficiency.

“爱妃’是新西兰培育的优良晚熟苹果品种，因其外观漂亮，口感好，深受消费者欢迎，是目前国内市场上销售快、价格高、种植效益好的苹果品种之一，也是我国苹果生产中最早实施知识产权保护的种植品种。（剩余3556字）
