Abstract：【Objective】To enrich the strawberycultivation structure in Chengde and improve the yieldand qualityof everbearing strawberies，a varietycomparison experiment was conducted to sreen for superior cultivars adapted tothe climatic conditions of the Chengderegionin Hebei Province.【Methods】Six everbearing strawberrycultivars wereusedastestmaterials，with‘Monterey’asthecontrol.Theexperimentemployedadouble-rowhighridgecultivationmethodinplasticgreehou sesto studythebotanicalcharacteristics，biological traits，yield performance，fruitqualityand pestanddiseaseresistaceof the sixcultivars.【Results】Theresults showed that‘Jinghong’and‘Jingchenghong’exhibited vigorous growth，withabundant lateral buds，inflorescences，and flowers. Their average single fruit weight exceeded 28g ，and their fruiting period began earlier than that of‘Monterey’and other varieties. The per-plant yield exceeded 500g ， and the average yield per mu （ 667m2 ） was higherthanthatofthecontrolandothercultivars.Thesetwocultivarsalsodemonstratedhigh fruitfirmness，excellent taste，superior quality，and relatively strong comprehensive pest and disease resistance. 【Conclusion】‘Jinghong’and ‘Jingchenghong'aresuitableforlocalpromotion andcultivation，servingascomplementaryoralternativecultivars totheprimary cultivar‘Monterey'.
