Application of Mason Bee in Apple Production

Abstract：Singlecultivar，poor flowering climate and other factors willeadtolowfruit seting rateofapple，affectingapple yieldandcultivationefciency. Improving polinationconditionsisanimportant measuretoimprove apple yieldandquality. The mason bee has thecharacteristics of strong ability toadapt to low temperature，large amountofflower visits，narow range ofactivities，andconcentratedpolinationtime.Itcansignificantlyimprovethfruitsettingrateandfruitqualityof apples，andhas low investment cost and is easy to promote.Taking Zhuanglang Countyof Gansu Province asan example，the applicationandadvantagesof masonbee inappleproduction werediscussd.Thepolination technologyof masonbee was introducedin detail，including thekeylinkssuchasbeehive placement，controlof stinging period，training method，medication precautions during flowering periodand nesttubestorage.Inorder to effectivelysolvethe problem of aple pollination byrational use of mason bee pollination，and provide technical support for the effcient development of apple industry.
