Abstract：Inthe process of hazelnut cultivation and management，pruning is an important part，which has a great influence onthe yieldandqualityof hazelnut，andcan notbeignored.Intheproduction，duetoimproperpruning，thehazelnutorchards havelow orno benefits.After yearsof experimentalresearch，thecommon treeshape，pruning periodandcommon methods of hazelnutwere summarized.Accordingtothediferent growthstages ofhazelnut，theoperation pointsof shaping young treesand pruning infullfruitperiodwereintroduced，inorder toprovidereferenceforimproving theindustrializationlevelofhazelnut.
