The Influence of Different Color Fruit Bags on The Quality of ‘Shine Muscat’ Grape Fruit

Abstract:【Objective】The efects of green,white,and gradient blue fruit bags on the fruit quality of‘Shine Muscat’ grapes were investigated to clarifythe application characteristics of these threebag types in‘Shine Muscat’grape cultivation and provide a reference for production.【Methods】Thre-year-old‘ShineMuscat’ grapevines were selected as test materials, withwhite,gree,and gradientblue paperbags apliedforbagging treatment.Light intensity,transmitance,temperature, humidity,andfruitqualityindicatorsunderdiferentbag treatmentsweremeasuredandanalyzed,folowedbyaprincipalcomponent analysis forcomprehensive evaluation. 【Results】The transmitance of white,green,and blue bags was approximately (24 35% , 24% ,and 18% ,respectively. White bags increased the fruit surface brightness ( L⋆ value)and chroma( C∗ value) whilereducing thecolorindex(CIRG).Both blue and white bagsacelerated the accumulationofsoluble solidscontent (SSC), with SSC exceeding 20% in all treatments at 9O days after flowering. Principal component analysis extracted three principal components,with a cumulative contribution rate of 100% . Among the three bagging treatments,white bags achieved the highest comprehensive score.【Conclusion】White fruit bags are recommended for‘Shine Muscat’grape cultivation inLanzhou.
