Damage and Control Methods of Apple Woolly Aphid

Abstract：Thewolly aphid isoneof thecommon pests inapple production.Infestation by woollyaphids obstructs nutrient transport within thetree，leading to weakenedtreevigor inmildcasesand tree death in severe cases，causing significant losses for growers.In practice，apple woollyaphids arechalenging tocontrol.Based onyears of practical experience，this paperanalyzes thereasons forthediffculty incontroling wollyaphidsand proposes targeted management measures.These include：cutting of migration pathways，scraping roughbark，removing suckers and clearing thebase，strengthening treevigor， monitoringsusceptible varieties for woollyaphid ocurence，timelyapplicationof pesticides，rational selectionof chemicals， properapplication methods，using natural predators tocontrolaphids，and employing microbialagents foraphidcontrol.The aimis toprovide references and guidance for effective woolyaphid management in production，thereby reducing losses.

绵蚜是苹果生产中常见害虫之一，较难防治，一旦发生会给生产造成较大损失，防治不容忽视，应根据其发生特点采取有效措施控制危害，以减轻生产损失。（剩余3579字）
