Research on the Selection and Application of Shaped Trees in Urban Greening of Zhangye

AbstractThrough investigation and analysis of the current status of shaped trees in parks，squares，roads， residential communities，and municipal green spaces in Ganzhou District，Linze County，and Gaotai County， it summarizes the differences in plantselection，configuration paterns，andornamental characteristics across various types of green spaces.The research finds that shaped trees hold significant value in urban greening but also face numerous challenges.This paper proposes recommendations such as optimizing tree species selection，strengthening maintenance management，and introducing innovative shaping designs，aiming to provide a reference for improving the level ofurban greening in Zhangye.
