AbstractUsing l-year-old Lindera communis seedlings cultivated at the Senyuan Technology seedling site in Ganzhou as the object，5O samples were randomly sampled，and four indicators including seedling height，ground diameter，main root length，and the number of lateral roots greater than 10cm were measured andanalyzed.Finally，seedling heightand ground diameter were determinedas thequality grading indicators forseedlings.Thestepwiseclustering analysismethod was used，and the results showed that1-year-old Lindera communis seedlingscan be divided into three levels，namely Grade I seedlings： H≥74.4cm ， D≥ 0.70cm ; Grade II seedlings： H≥60.0cm，D≥0.58cm Grade III seedlings： H<60.0cm L， D<0.58cm
