AbstractThe paper conducted a systematic study on the distribution characteristics，survival status and protection countermeasures of Viscum coloratum in Heilongjiang region.Through field transect surveys and dataanalysis，it was determined that the core distribution areas of Viscum coloratum in Heilongjiang Province were the areas around Zhangguangcai Mountains，Laoye Mountains，Wanda Mountains and Xiaoxing'anlingMountains，as well as the rule that the host tree species had a particular preference for poplar.The study found that Viscum coloratum in Heilongjiang was facing multiple threats such as over - collectionand habitat destruction，and its population size was showing a downward trend.
