Anhui Siniperca chuatsi industry: Exploring the development path driven by both seed industry and policies

Abstract:The Siniperca chuatsi is a key premium freshwater species in China，and its industry has experienced rapid development in recent years. Anhui Province，as a major region for Siniperca chuatsi farming, warrants practical research into its industrial status and challnges. This study comprehensively reviews the Sinipercachuatsi industry in Anhui，analyzing its characteristics in breeding，fry production，processng，and industrial chain integration. It identifies major issues such as limited output，reliance on live feed,low adoption rate of improved breeds，technical botlenecks，and disease management.Accordingly，a "dual一driver" development strategy is proposed，emphasizing "seed industry innovation as the lead and policy support as the safeguard." Additionall，recommendations include strengthening technological breakthroughs，improving the industrial system，and enhancing brand development to promote high一quality and sustainable growth of the mandarin fish industry in Anhui.
