Abstract:Based on monitoring data of the inflow rivers in Yingkou City from 202O to 2024,this study analyzes the spatiotemporal variation characteristics and driving factors of total nitrogen(TN).The results indicate that the annual average TN concentration in these rivers showed a fluctuating downward trend ( 6.13~7.34mg/L) ,with a rebound in 2022 and the lowest value in 2024. Overall,TN concentration was negatively correlated with precipitation and closely associated with livestock and poultry farming, while the impact of chemical fertilizer application was weak. Significant seasonal differences were observed, with the winter concentrations (9.55mg/L) )being 2.3 times that of summer concentrations (4.17mg/L) ,primarily influenced by precipitation dilution and temperature. Spatially, the distribution exhibited a pattern of "higher in the south and lower in the north",with the Xiongyue River and Daqing River identified as high-value areas, and the Sha River and Dahan River as low-value areas, resulting from the combined effects of topography, land use,and human activities. The findings of this study can provide references and a basis for differentiated management strategies in the watersheds of Yingkou's inflow rivers.
