Research on Parameter Optimization of Surrounding Rock Support StructureBased on BPNeural Network

Abstract: [Purposes] The self-stability of the surounding rock is poor,and the variable cross-section staggered position formed under various external factors is prone to stress concentration,resulting in a significant increase in displacement and stress of the surrounding rock support. Therefore,a parameter optimization method for the surrounding rock support structure based on BP neural network is proposed. [Methods] The rock support structure model is used to analyze the mechanical response of the rock support structure. An input feature set is established based on the surrounding rock parameters,and the BP neural network is applied to predict support structure parameters.These predicted parameters are then utilized to optimize the objective function,thereby enhancing the performance of the support system. [Findings] The practical application results demonstrate that the proposed design method successfully confines the displacement value within a narrower range of 1.6~3.O mm.Simultaneously,the variation of structural stress hasbeen effctively regulated, with its fluctuation range strictly maintained within1.7MPa.These results confirm the method's efectiveness in reducing both displacement and stress in surrounding rock support.[Conclusions] Through precise design and optimization of support structure parameters,the structure can achieve higher load-bearing capacity and stability when resisting rock pressure and deformation.This approach not only helps minimize the damage and failure of the support structure,but also improves the safety and stability of underground construction such as tunnels and roadways.
