Study on the Influencing Factors of Prefabricated Building ConstructionQualityBasedonDEMATEL-ISM

Abstract: [Purposes] This paper analyzes the influencing factors of prefabricated building construction quality,aiming to improve the construction quality to some extent.[Methods] Through literature analysis,14 influencing factors of prefabricated building construction quality were identified across three stages: pre-construction, construction,and post-construction. The DEMATEL-ISM method was then applied to determine the key factors and establish their hierarchical relationships,followed by recommenda tions for improving construction quality.[Findings] The top three factors by centrality are: completion acceptance,component size deviation/damage,and effectiveness of quality traceability mechanism.Workface cleaning,temporary support installation and fixation,reinforcement binding of prefabricated components,and completion acceptance are direct influencing factors.Personnel coordination,construction equipment condition (backwardness or damage),and quality traceability mechanism efectiveness are the fundamental influencing factors.[Conclusions] The research findings highlight three key areas for improving prefabricated building construction quality: material quality, component quality standards,and enhancement of the quality traceability mechanism.
