Parameter Identification of PMSM with Finite-difference-based Strong Tracking H∝ Filter

Abstract: The tracking maneuver process accuracy of traditional H∞ filter is not enough for high precision control fields.A finitedifference-based strong tracking H∞ filter(FD-STHF) is proposed for permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM),which can improve the electromagnetic parameters identification accuracy. The strong tracking H∞ filter(STHF) is obtained by introducing an asymptotic elimination factor to improve the H∞ filter.Furthermore,a finite difference algorithm is adopted to calculate the Jacobi matrixofthenonlinearfunctionintheSTHF,whichcanreduce theerorcausedbytheoriginalfrstorderTaylorexpansion.Compared to H∞ filter,theFD-STHFcanimprovetheparameteridentificationresult trackingaccuracyefctively.Finally,theefectivensand thesuperiorityof theproposedFD-STHFinidentifyingtheinductanceandresistanceparametersofthePMSMarestudiedthrough MATLAB/Simulink software.The simulation results show that the proposed finite-diference-based strong tracking H∞ filter can improve the parameter identification accuracy effectively.
