Research on the Application of Hull Part Data Channeling and Routing Processing

Abstract: The nesting of hullstructural parts during the production design stage is primarily conducted by block assembly. In the actual production process, parts requiring different processing methods and fow directions need to be manually sorted from a large number of parts,resulting in low part flow efciency and significantly impacting production efficiency. Based on the requirements for channeling and routing of hullpart production, this paper designs a new nesting approach through the secondary development of SPD design software,achieving channeled and routed nesting design for hullstructural parts and improving the fow efciency of structural parts during the production stage.
