Fire Safety Design of 7 Ooo CEU Dual Fuel Pure Car and Truck Carrier（PCTC）

Abstract： Due to the unique structure of PCTC ships， fire accidents occur frequently， making fire safety design particularly important.This paper explains the causes offires in ro-ro ships and the relevant rules and regulations followed intheir firesafety design.Taking a7Ooo-car dual-fuel carcarieras the subject，it elaborateson the fire safety designof itsaccommodation spaces，vehicle spaces，LNG tank rooms，andaccess routes，as wellas several special design methods for openings in fire-resisting divisions.Provide reference forfre protection design of other Ro-Ro ships.
