Research on the Application Design of Biosafe Class Notation in Ro-Ro passenger Ships

Abstract： The Biosafe class notation is an additional class notation introduced in 2020 by RINA in response to the normalization trend of global pandemic prevention and control.A ro-ro passenger ship（（ro-pax ）， built by GuangzhouShipyard International CompanyLimited，is the world's firstro-paxship toapplyforthe Biosafeclass notation.Based on the analysis of the epidemic prevention clauses，measures，and contribution scores within the Biosafe notation，this paper formulates detailed plans and implementation measures specificall for the ro-pax ship. This research effectively promotes the application of the Biosafe class notation in passenger ships and can provide references for the epidemic prevention design of subsequent vessels.
