Structural Design Analysis of Engine Case and Crane Foundation for Steel-Aluminum High Speed Patrol Craft

Abstract:The marine craneand its base are made of stee.Incertain special cases,it is necessary to install the crane in the hull of stel-aluminum structure,and crane foundation design shall be specially considered.This paper takesasteel-aluminum high speed patrol craftas theresearchobject, inorderto lighten the weightof hullstructure and improve the feasibility structure connection,the engine casing and foundation are made of aluminum,and the aluminum-steel transition jointis used to connect the foundation and the mainsteel hullstructure.In order to transfer theloadofthecrane tothehulleffectively,finite elementtechnologyisused tocheck thestrengthofthefoundation and hull structure,and to optimize the connection forms and nodes between the foundation and the hullstructure.
