AbstractObjective:TotranslatetheSituationalEmotionalResponseScale(ERES)intoChinseandtotestitsreliabiltandvalidity among nursinginters.Methods:Folowing Brslin'stranslationmodel,theERESwastranslatedandback-translated,reviewedbythe originalauthor,culturalladapted,andretestedtocreateaChineseversionofERES.FromApril toJulyO24,atotalof8nursing internsfromatertiarygradeAhospital inHenanprovincewassurveyedtoevaluatethescale'sreliabityandvalidity.Results:The ChineseversionoftheERESconsistedoffourdimensionswithatotalof29items.TeoverallCronbach'sαcoeficientofthescalewas 0.960,withCronbach'scoeficientsforachdmensionangingfro88toO967TesplithalfreliabilityoftesalesO6and thetestretestreliabilityasO874.Teitem-lvelcontentvalidityindexrangedfro.83 toOoohilethecale-evelcotetlidity index was O.826.Exploratory factor analysis extracted four common factors with acumulative variance contributionrateof 78.268% Confirmatoryfactoranalysis indicatedagoodmodelft.Conclusions:TheChineseversionofEREShasgoodreliabilityandvalidity, providingompesioltsssusgitemooalsposeabilisipatiareflitsias.Itabe basis for managers to develop training plans and targeted interventions.
