AbstractObjective：Toinvestigatethecoresymptomsandurban-ruralvariances indepresionamongdisabledindividualsaged45and aboveintheChinaHealthandRetirementLongitudinal Stdy（CHARLS）databaseusing networkanalysis，oastoprovidesomebases forthedevelopmentofpreciseintervention.Methods：Chinesemidle-agedandelderlyindividualsaged45andabovefromthe2020 CHARLESdatabase were included inthe study.Andtheyweresurveyedbyusingtheshort versionof theCentrefor Streamingand ModulatinDepressoScale（CES-DO）.AnddataanalysiswascariedoutbyusigtheRStudiosoftarewhichincudedanalyisfthe coresymptoms，analysisofthenetworkstructure，andanalysisoftheacuracyandstabilityofthenetworkstructure.Results："feel overwhelmedbyeverythingIdo"，adthehighestpredictivevalue，anditsexpectedimpactvaluewas1.9879，whichwasthemostcntral nodeinthewholenetwork，folowedby"Ifeeldepressedand"Ifellonely".Therewasasignificantdiferencebetweenthecore symptoms ofdepressonandthe network structureofurbanandruraldisabled midle-agedandelderlypeople.The network model has goodaccuracyandstabityAndtheresultsarereliable.Conclusions：Theresultsofthestudyemphasizedtheimportanceofaddressing coresymptomsinthetreatmentofdepresioninurbanandruraldisabledmiddle-agedandelderlypeople.Suggstedthattargeted preventionandinterventionstrategiessouldbedevelopedtoaddressthecharacteristisoftecoresymptomsofdepresioinurbanand ruraldisabled middleagedandelderlypeopleinfuturestudies，soastoenhancethementalhealthofthis grouppopulationinChina.
