Abstract： Yumeiren No.2 is a new early-medium maturing biter gourd hybrid，which was bred by crossing the early maturing line KO905 as female parent and the medium maturing line K170l as male parent.The plant exhibits strong plantgrowthand branchingability，with both mainandlateral vinescapableofbearing fruit，and nodalpositionoffemale floweronmainvineis9-1，resultinginhighfruitsetingrate.Itsfruitsarecharacterizedbystickshape，white-green color，longitudinal stripe and round tumor，strongluster with about 30.0cm in length， 6.0cm in diameter， 1.0cm in flesh thickness， 450g in the single fruit mass，and the 667m2 yield is 3000kg .The polysaccharide content is 65.2mg⋅g-1 saponin content is 7.39mg⋅g-1 ，flavonoid content is 1.97mg⋅g-1 and total phenol content is 5.61mg⋅g-1 .The fruit is crispy，slightlybiter，andrichin flavor.Theplantismediumresistance topowderymildew，andsuitable forplanting in regions with similar ecological conditions of Shanghai.
