Abstract：On the occasionof the third anniversaryof the successful hosting of the Beijing 2022Olympic Winter Games，Professor Zhang Baoqiang's bookA Study onChinese Traditional Iceand Snow Sports Culture in the ContextoftheBeijing2022Olympic WinterGames Was published.Throughartifactarchaeology，the book unlocks the evolutionary code of Chinese iceand snow utensils；centers on institutional reconstruction to analyze the politicaland cultural logicofancient iceand snow sports;and focuses onspiritual interpretation to explore the culturalandphilosophical connotationsof traditional iceand snow sports，therebydecoding thecultural genesof China'straditionaliceandsnowsportscivilization.Italsodeconstructsthe threedimensionsofthetraditionalice and snow sports culturesystem by analyzingthe technical aestheticsand ethnic characteristicsoftraditional ice and snow utensils，the governance wisdomand modern enlightenmentofthe institutionalization of ancient ice and snow sports，and the inheritanceand contemporary valueofthe spiritualcoreof traditional iceand snowculture.In terms ofexploring the inheritance and innovationof iceand snow sports culture，thebook sortsoutthe evolution of cultural promotion paradigms in previous Olympic Winter Games，analyzes the excavation and reconstruction

of Chinese traditional ice and snow culture by the Beijing2022OlympicWinterGames，and puts forward theoriesand practices fortheinnovationofChinese iceandsnowculture.Althoughthebookneedsfurther exploration on the correlation betweeniceand snow

sportsandforgingastrong sense ofcommunity forthe Chinese nation，it effectively fils thegap in the textual interpretationof iceand snow culture and unlocks the innovative theoryof traditionalice and snow culture， making itararemasterpiece.
