Abstract:Membrane materialisanewtypeof building material,whichhasthecharacteristicsoflightweightandlarge span. Undertheactionof windload,themembrane materialispronetosignificantdeformationandvibration,whichmayhavea" couplingeffct"withthesurroundingairflowfield,andinseverecases,itwilleadtosructuralinstability,thustreatening thesafetyof buildings.Inthis paper,basedonvon Karman’slarge deflection theoryandd‘Alembertsprinciple,the governingequationsof strong nonlinear vibrationof sadle-shapedmembrane structuresunderfluid-structurecoupling ffect arederived,andthe analytical solutionsareobtained by Galerkin method.Theparameters such aswindspeed,modeorder, membrane surface density,initial displacement,prestress,membrane surface sizeandvector-spanratiounderfluid-solid couplingareanalyzed,andallhavediferentinfluencesonthevibrationcharacteristicsofsaddle-shapedmembranestructures. Then,thegenerallawof strong nonlinear vibrationoforthotropictension membranestructuresunderfluid-solidcouplingis summarized,which provides theoretical support and reference for research and application in related fields.
