Abstract:Toinvestigatetheimpactofshotcreteconstiutivemodelsonthepredictionofdisplacementandstressinshoterete shells ofdeep-buriedtunnels,atwo-dimensionalfiniteelement simulation wasconducted basedontheNew Austrian Tunneling Method(NATM).Thestudyanalyzedthediferencesindisplacementandstressevolutionpredictionsresultingfrom various shotcrete models.Thesimulationresultsindicatethatthelinear elasticmodelmayoverestimate theshel’stifness, whereas modelsaccounting fortime-dependentcharacteristics beterreflectactualconditions.The SCDPandSchdlich models exhibit similarresultsin short-termresponses,while the Meschke model demonstrates higherrigidity;however,itscrep efctlimitsthestresstate.Bycomparingtheinflunceofdiferentshotcrete modelsonthemechanicalperformanceofshotcrete shells,the studyprovides amoreacurate predictive approach,contributingto theoptimizationoftunnelconstruction anddesign and enhancing the safety and reliability of engineering projects.
