Teaching reform practice of the course Research Progress in the Field of Agronomy and Seed Industry

AbstractTocultivateapplication-oriented talents in theagricultural field,this study conducted teaching reform practice targeting students of grades 2022—2023 who took the course Research Progressin the Field of Agronomy and Seed Industry.Throughaquestionnaire survey,it was found that some students had problems suchas to-be-improved learning interest,insufficient practical teaching links,andoutdated curriculum content.Basedonthis,teaching methods including Project-Based Learning (PBL),flipped clasroom,andOutcome-Based Education(OBE)were introduced, andteaching was designedin combination with local agricultural cases;cuting-edgecontent in thefieldwas supplemented through expert lectures andschool-enterprise internships;and a closed-loop teaching processcovering pre-class preview,in-classinteraction,and post-class assessment was built.Theresults showed thataftertheteaching reform,students’enthusiasm forin-class participation was significantlyimproved.The questionnaire survey indicated that 100% of the students in grades 2O22—2O23 were interested in the course content and willing to share it,and 92%~96% of them believed that the teaching had improved their ability to solve practical problems.Meanwhile,the teacherteam wasapproved forauniversity-level teaching reformproject,promotedthecourse toapplyfor the provincial ideological and political demonstrationcourse,andlaunched thecompilationof teaching materials.The teaching model constructed in thisstudycan efectivelyimprove the teaching status ofagronomy andseed industryprofesionalcourses, achieve thecollaborativeeducationgoalof knowledgeimpartment,abilitycultivation,and value guidance,and providea reference for the reform of similar professional courses.

农艺与种业主要培养学生掌握作物栽培与耕作、农作物生长管理、遗传育种、区域农业可持续发展、现代农业及农产品生产加工应用、技术推广、种质资源等领域的基本理论与实践技能;该领域的研究进展聚焦于植物保护、育种学、农作物生产管理、草业经营管理等关键内容,形成了多维度的研究体系。(剩余4626字)
