Optimization strategy of green space in Zhundong New Town based on ecological adaptabilitydesign

AbstractThe Zhundong New Town in Xinjiang was takenasan example,thedataof climate,light,soil and vegetation inthisarea was analyzed,andthetheoryofecological adaptabilitydesignto propose strategies foroptimizing green space in 3 aspects: spatial optimization,soil improvement and water arrangement was combined.The study area hasa typical temperatecontinental climate,with dryair,low precipitation,strong sandstorms,large temperature diffrences between day and night,and a relativelylong annual sunshine duration.The soil is mainlysalinized sandy soil,andthe types of vegetationarerelativelysingle,with arelativelylow green coveragerate.Basedonthecurrent ecological statusof the studyarea,the specific strategies proposedareas folows.In termsof spatial optimization, protectiveforestbeltsshouldbebuilt,nativeplants thataredrought-tolerantandsalt-alkali tolerantshouldbeselected, integrateregional culture,colors and cultural symbols intothe planning and construction,design functional spaces with diverse features,build acontinuous green network,and optimize public spaces through reasonable green space layout andfacilityconfiguration.In termsof soil improvement,water-retaining agentsareused.In keyareas,salt-alkali tolerant plants are selected.Artificial covering techniques are adopted to create micro-landforms and sunken green spaces.Native plants with strong adaptabilityandvigorous growth are chosen for soil improvement.In terms of water layout,soil alkali drainage projects willbe implemented,andamulti-levelurbanwater system network will be constructed,including the waterbeltsaround the city,ecological water axesand landmark water features.This study provides practical references for the construction of green spaces in arid areas.
