AbstractInthis study,with reference to theChinese national standard method GB/T14506.30-2O10“Methods for chemicalanalysisof silicaterocks-Part3O:Determinationof44elements”,thecontentsof4Oinorganicelements (including LiandBe)insoil samplescolected from 2O sampling points across5directions(due east,due west,due south,due north,and southwest)were determined.The distribution characteristicsof these elements across difrent sampling points were analyzed using the single factor polution index ( Pip ), geo-accumulation index Igeo, , and coefficient of variation ( CV ).Theresults indicatedthat the contentsofnine inorganic elements (As,Cd,Cu,Pb,Ni,Sb,Be,Co,V)in the study area ranged from O.406 to 101.000mg/kg ,all of which werebelow the risk screeningvalues.Furthermore,all (20 Pip values were less than 1,indicating an“unpolluted”status.Compared to the soil background values of the eastern plains, the Igeo values of 29 elements (Li, Be,and Sc,etc.) were ⩽0 , suggesting no enrichment. 4 elements (Cu, Gd, W, and Bi) had Igeo values between O and1,indicating slight to moderate enrichment.4 elements (Zn,Ag,Cd,and Pb) showed Igeo values between 1 and 2,indicating moderate enrichment.In and Sb have Igeo values between 2 and 3, indicating moderate to strong enrichment. The Igeo value of Sn was 4.O9,demonstrating strong to extreme enrichment. The CV values for 11 elements (including Cu, Zn,and Ag) in the study area’s soil were greater than 0.4, indicating anon-uniform distribution.Moreover,the maximum concentrations of unevenlydistributed elements were predominantly located to the east,while the peak concentration of W was found 0.5km to the southwest, and the peak concentrationsof Cu,Zn,and Mo werelocated O.5 km to the north.These findings provide areference for soil environmental monitoring.
