The composition and flora distribution of butterfly species in the Guizhou Chishui Alsophila NationalNatureReserve

AbstractTo clarifythe buterfly resources in the Chishui Alsophila Nature Reserve,from June 2023 to June 2024, this studyconducted asurveyonthebuterfly resources of the study area usingthe transect method,the distributionof the species composition base system was investigated,andtheresultsof this survey were comparedandanalyzed with those ofliterature data from 20O2 and 2010.Theresults indicated thata total of 141 butterflyspecies belonging to81 genera and 5families were recorded inthe study area duringthis investigation.Basedonthe types recorded in relevant literature,there are currently182 speciesof buterflies belonging to92 generaand 5 families in the study area.Among them,there were21 speciesfrom6generaof thePapilionidae family,11 speciesfrom6generaofthePieridaefamily,85 species from 41 generaoftheNymphalidae family,25 species from 19 generaofthe Lycaenidaefamilyand 4O species from2O generaof the Hesperidaefamily.There were13 phylogenetic distribution types ofthe studyareabutterflyinthe animal geographical zoningof China.Among them,the Southwest-Central China-South China phylogenetic type had the highest number of species,with 66 species,accounting for 36.26% of the total number of species.This indicated that the buterflies in the studyarea were mainly composed of species from the Central China,South China and Southwest regionsin theanimal geographical zoningof China,withspeciesfrom the Central Chinaregionbeing dominant. Compared withtheresultsof iteraturedatain 2OO2 and 2O10,the numberof buterfly generaandspecies inthis survey had significantlyincreasedcompared with previous surveys,and thenumber ofbuterfly familieshad also increased significantly,indicating thatthebuterflyresources inthestudyarea arerich.Thisarticle providesareference forthe protection and utilization of butterfly resources.
