Research status and prospects of tobacco industrial sorting

AbstractIndustrial sorting is an important means for cigarete manufacturing enterprises to enhancethe purityof tobacco leafraw materials，achieverefined classification，and increase theutilization value of tobaco leaves.The industrialsorting methodsandqualitycontrolindicatorsof tobaccoleaves，aswellas theimpactof industrial sortingon the qualityof tobacco leaves were analyzed，thedevelopment trendof industrial sorting offlue-cured tobacco in combination with the current situation was prospected.At present，the main methods of tobacco leaf industrial sorting include general selection，patch selection，finepatch selectionand block selection，etc.Industrial sorting caneffectively remove greenand miscellaneous tobacco leaves，moldytobacco leaves，as well as non-original grade tobacco leavesand secondary tobacco leaves thathaveasignificant impactonsensoryquality，whichisconducive to improving thequality of tobacco leaves.Atthesame time，itefectivelyreduces thecoeficientof variationofnicotine intobaccoleaves and enhances thehomogenizationlevelof tobaccoleaves.Due tothediferences inthebrand stylesof tobaccoleafcigaretes andthediferent originsof tobaccoleaves，thereare significant variations intheselectionofqualitycontrolindicators for tobaccoleaf industrial sorting，such as identityandcolorintensity.Theindustrial sorting of tobaccoleaves isshowinga development trend of inteligence，refinement and informatization.This studyprovides a reference for improving the sortinglevel of tobacco leavesand the availabilityof tobacco leaf raw materials.
