Abstract：Sorghum hasahistoryofoverathousand yearsofcultivationinthe XiliaoRiver Basin.Itisahigh-yieldcropgrown inthis basinandpossesss extremelyhighindustrialaplicationvalue，redculturalvalue，andtourismdevelopmentvalue.Duringthe Anti-Japanese War，theLiberation War，andtheKorean Wa，orghumseredasanimporantlogisticalsupportmaterial，providnga basicguaranteeforthesoldiers'rationsandmakinganindeliblecontributiontothevictoryofthewars.Thecultivationhistoryof sorghumandteredculturalhistoryintheXiliaoRiverBasinareconducivetopromotingthedevelopmentofindustrissuchasculture，tourism，andhandicraftswithlocalcharacteristics.TisarticleexploresthecultivationhstoryofsorgumintheXiliaoRiver

Basinandtherelatedredculturetofacilitatethe establishment ofacharacteristicredcultural disseminationsystemin theXiliao RiverBasin，create the "Xiliao River Red Sorghum"culture，and helpthe rapid developmentof the sorghumindustryin the Xiliao River Basin. It is of great significance for promoting the development of tourism resourcesin the Xiliao River Basin.
